On 30 November 2020, the Ports Regulator of South Africa published a Record of Decision on the Tariff Application by the National Ports Authority for the Tariff Years 2021/22 - 2023/24.

Original consultation summary
This consultation is intended for port users and interested parties to submit proposals and comments on the National Ports Authority Tariff Application for the 2021/22 tariff period. The consultation begins on 3 August 2020. All comments to be submitted by Wednesday, 30 September 2020. Furthermore, An invitation is hereby extended to port users and interested parties to attend virtual public hearings (webinars) on the NPA's tariff application from 31 August 2020 to 1 September 2020.
Tariff Application description
Transnet National Ports Authority, (“the Authority”) is required, with the approval of the Ports Regulator (“the Regulator”), to determine tariffs for services and facilities offered by the Authority and to annually publish a tariff book containing those tariffs. On 1 August 2020, the Authority submitted its application setting out its proposed tariffs for all services and facilities offered by the Authority for the tariff period for approval by the Regulator.

Virtual public hearings registration and schedule
An invitation is hereby extended to port users and interested parties to attend virtual public hearings (webinars) on the NPA's tariff application for 2021/22 - 2023/24 from 31 August 2020 to 1 September 2020. Registration is mandatory. Email to register. A Microsoft Teams link will be emailed to you prior to the event.
